2011 Annual Conference Agenda

Hello Conference Attendee Spouses!

 

It's hard to believe that the planning for this year's conference is well underway. It's something that is going to be here before we know it.

 

We are in La Crosse again this year and I have some special plans. For the Tuesday Spouse Welcome Program, we will be doing a hands on class on creating a netting amulet necklace. We will be learning how to net wire around a seashell or a rock and make a rustic necklace. I am looking forward to learning how this is done myself and have been assured that it is an easy project. There will be refreshments and door prizes!

 

For Thursday's shopping outing we will be taking a beautiful, scenic bus ride along the Mississippi River to Prairie du Chien. Once there we will be going to an amazing shop called The Cannery. It contains 30,000 square feet of gifts & crafts and includes an ice cream and fudge shop. From there we will have lunch at Eddies Irish Pub and continue to the old downtown area of Prairie Du Chien where we can walk through some specialty shops before heading back to La Crosse.

 

Other events will include the Tuesday evening open house, Wednesday's technical exhibition and lunch, and Thursday's social hour, awards presentation and banquet.
