The Education Committee is dedicated to our Association's mission of healthcare engineering development through education, professional growth, and advocacy in codes and standards. We strive to develop technical and managerial program offerings that provide value to our members. Our organization's history demonstrates our commitment to this mission.
2010 WHEA Education Goals
- Provide a minimum of four (4) site based and four
four (4) web based educational programs that align with WHEA's mission. - Provide a minimum of two (2) Healthcare Contractor Certificate programs
- working with the Code Committee
- Evaluate communicate and implement the HCC Renewal Program.
- Reengineer the Speakers Bureau process including:
--Improve speaker data entry, sorting and information access on whea.com
--Become a shared resource for Chapters and Commitees.
--Market to our membership as a resource and tool for educational support. - Implement and market a WHEA supported on-line training offering.
- Provide value to WHEA Sponsors through educational opportunities.
