The Education Committee is dedicated to our Association's mission of healthcare engineering development through education, professional growth, and advocacy in codes and standards. We strive to develop technical and managerial program offerings that provide value to our members. Our organization's history demonstrates our commitment to this mission.
2012 WHEA Education Goals
- Provide a minimum of four (4) site-based and four
(4) web-based educational programs that align with WHEA's mission. - Provide a minimum of two (2) Healthcare Contractor Certificate (HCC) programs working with the Code Committee. In addition, we will review, communicate and implement the HCC renewal program.
- Investigate and evaluate technology to improve remote access to meetings and web-based programs to be more effective with virtual attendance.
- Review and consider re-branding the Education Committee
- Provide value to WHEA Sponsors through educational opportunities.
