The Healthcare Construction Certificate is a one-day seminar designed for contractors and hospital construction supervisors to provide knowledge of many issues pertaining to construction in a healthcare environment. The attendee will receive a certificate of attendance, hard hat decal, wallet-size proof of certificate and a binder and CD with a copy of the presentation slides.

WHEA's HCC Program Certificate is valid for a period of three (3) years from date of issue.  Follow this link to Renewable Process Details.

ASHE HAS CHANGED THEIR RENEWAL PROCESS FOR THEIR HEALTHCARE CONSTRUCTION CERTIFICATE PROGRAM.  TAKING THIS WHEA HCC PROGRAM IS STILL A RENEWAL FOR THE ASHE HCC. INFORMATION ON HOW TO RENEW YOUR ASHE HCC WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THIS PROGRAM.

Program Presenters

Jon Cechvala, AIA, NFPA, ASHE, Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. Jon serves as Architect Planner and Quality Assurance Architect for Code Compliance as part of HealthCare Studio Design Team. He is also co-chair of the WHEA Code Committee.

 

Jeff Eckstein, AIA, ASHE, J.H. Findorff & Son, Inc., Business Development, Healthcare. Jeff is a registered architect and has over 20 years experience in healthcare planning, design, and construction. He is also co-chair of the WHEA Code Committee and WHEA Chapter I President.

 

Marge McFarlane, PhD, CHSP, HEM, MEP, CHEP,  is an independent safety consultant with over 36 years of healthcare experience and 10 years experience with infection control for construction. She is currently working with the WI Hospital Emergency Prepared Program and Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. Marge is a member of ASHE and serves on the WHEA Code Committee.

 

Bob Dubiel, CHFM, ASHE,  has had 20 years in healthcare. 15 years at Luther Midelfort, Mayo health as Director of Construction/Projects Services. Bob has been a member of ASHE for 15 years and is a member of the WHEA Code Committee.
