Wisconsin Healthcare Engineering Association is a Charter Provider Organization for MECH
MECH was developed by the Michigan Society for Healthcare Engineering (MISHE), in conjunction with Ferris State University (MI) to establish a nationally recognized and certification program for healthcare maintenance mechanics.
Two Levels of Certification are now Available!
- CERTIFIED MECHANIC
This level of certification requires documentation of a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a healthcare maintenance mechanic and successful completion of a certification exam.
- SENIOR CERTIFIED MECHANIC
This level requires at least four (4) years of experience as a healthcare maintenance mechanic and successful completion of the certification exam.
