Environmental Monitoring for Construction and Occupancy
Proactively prevent infections during construction and occupancy within healthcare facility environments. This presentation will identify airborne and water based infection prevention issues that every facility manager, architect, and engineer must address on the job. While working in a healthcare environment, you need to understand your unique role, the applicable codes, and be prepared to implement processes to protect patients, staff, and visitors from healthcare-acquired infections. Through this presentation, and group discussion, you will become a more valuable member of your healthcare team.
