Wis. Admin. Code ch. DHS 124, Hospitals was published with an effective date of July 1, 2020. The new rule affects all hospitals licensed by the State of Wisconsin.
The updated rule includes provisions related to:
- Waivers and variances
- Statements of deficiency and plans of correction
- Patient rights and responsibilities in critical access hospitals
- Maternity and neonatal care
- Freestanding emergency departments
- Construction plans and fees for plan review
